50 Snacks for Kids


Sometimes when it's time for a snack, nothing sounds appealing.  But if you stock up on some of these helathy and yummy treats, there will always be something nutritious for your family to choose from.  As parents we always try to opt for healthy foods and even though we think fruits and veggies are always best, there are lots of other delicious options.

When possible, try to choose as many organic fruits and veggies or homegrown, if possible.  Offer raw veggie and fruits and your kids will start to think of these as normal snacks, if they don't already.  Remember that many veggies, like celery, are great with peanut butter or almond butter.  Bananas and apples also pair well with peanut butter and it provides extra protein.
