This year, when thinking about Easter baskets, I decided to try and find some alternative items that were functional, rather than the usual Easter basket. this is especially a fun idea if you have a number of children, or grandchildren, that you want to give a little something for Easter.
Two fun options I found were mini purses for the girls and small, personal soft coolers for the boys. I also went with a fun wire basket for the litter kids. You can also find some non-traditional items to put into your Easter containers. Things like rubber rockets, small Easter snowglobes and little bracelets etc. are fun non-candy items the kids will keep and use rather than gobble up the candy and store away the Easter basket.
