Dogs Snuggle Often … dogs like to be with their owners and they take every opportunity to snuggle. Snuggling always improves my mood … how about you?
Dogs Take Naps … if only we could chill out and take all those doggie naps whenever we felt like it. Research shows even a short nap is good for us so find time in your day to kick up your feet and close you eyes for 30 minutes.
Dogs Have Favorite Things … dogs don’t need much but they do have their favorite toys. Dogs remind us to treasure and be thankful for what we have. Keep the things that make you happy- photos, memorabilia from a favorite place, book, or other items you love and display them in your home.
Dogs Always Share Kisses and Hugs … who kisses you more than your dog? A dog always makes you feel special … even when you’re down. Don’t forget to tell those you love that you love them and give them a kiss and hug everytime you see them.
Dogs Always Welcome those They Love … no one is more welcoming when you come home, greeting you with a wagging tail and a doggie smile. Give your doggie extra hugs too … they deserve your affection. Show your loved ones how much they mean to you too!
Dogs Play Every Day … if we could all make play a priority like dogs do, we’d all be a little bit happier. Our goal should be to get just a tenth of the exercise our dogs do. We’d all be really healthy and fit. And remember getting outside in sunshine and moving are mood lifters too!
Dogs Makes Friends Easily … dogs often look like they are smiling. We need to remember to smile more often every day and try to connect with friends on a daily basis. We need to remember to reach out to our friends regularly, even when our schedules are busy- make your family and friends a priority.
