Smores are a favorite in my house. My kids would eat smores morning, noon and night if I let them. And really, can you think up a better combination than chocolate, marshmallow and graham crackers? I can’t.
Here’s a great idea for making your own Smores bar that you can actually use all year round indoors. The kids love it and it’s much easier than firing up the fire pit. So now, when you have a kid or parent gathering, this is a fun food event everyone will love. A perfect party idea.
We found our long, wood container at a T.J. Maxx. They have tons of unique items for the home and at great prices. Confession, we are T.J. Maxx addicts. Another great option is to find a new, or even an old, long and low container, possibly made from tin or metal. The polished stones can be found at a Dollar store, as well as the marshmallow sticks that can telescope. In lieu of the purchased sticks you can make some out of straight, thin branches, just by removing the bark and making one pointed end.
